Politics Over Priority

Michelle Malkin, the evidence that you can in fact have a hotter and even crazier wingnut then Anne Coulture, has been known to say a great many things. She says the type of things you don't expect Rush Limbaugh to say on a pharmaceutical bender in Vegas. She vehemently attempts to make points, almost always in defense of the "Christian Nation", and if it were someone from the left no one would ever listen to them and I don't care if they looked like Angelina Jolie.

Well, she has a new editorial I found on Yahoo this afternoon. I'm not sure why I clicked on the title of Whitewashing Jihad in the Schools, but I am glad I did. I read it and I just have to shake my to the fact that she just doesn't get it. The item she is up in arms about is schools doing terrorist drills much in the same way they do a fire drill. She slams her fist on a desk like Dr. Claw because some schools have decided to put Homeschooled Christians as the terrorists. Of course her reasoning holds SO much water:
But the "real as possible" conditions included no bomb-vest-donning jihadists shouting "Allahu Akbar." No red bandanna-wearing martyrs with visions of 72 virgins dancing in their evil heads. No America-hating plotters enraged by the existence of Israel or driven to establish a worldwide caliphate. Nope. According to the paper, two local police detectives took on the role of hostage-taking Christian gunmen.

Perhaps someone needs to educate Ms. Malkin about the attacks that have taken place in the United States. I don't think that these were done by Islamic terrorists.I am willing to guess that Charles Roberts IV has more to do with these style of attacks since that has happened more in the US then "Muslim Terrorists".

In fact other then 9-11, what major terrorist attack has been performed by Islamic terrorists that resulted in many deaths on the continental US soil? The last time I check Oklahoma City was done by two white Americans. The pundits love to beat their chests and keep claiming if we don't beat them over there they'll bring it over here. This is a fallacy to keep fear in the weak minded, to control the masses, and the masses allow them to freely give over their rights in the name of "security." Michelle Malkin would praise these drills if they gunmen were Islamic, sadly she seems to care more about her politics and policies then what is actually happening in the country.

Then again, should we be that shocked? This is a group of people who think telling children not to have sex before marriage will actually work.

Throwback Thursday...sort of

We have all seen the redone trailers to make movies look like something they're not. Well, this may be my favorite one so far, fuckin classic

Science Class

From Noodle:
Bushcronium

Mark it on your Periodic Table........................................

The densest element yet known to science has been discovered. The new Element has been named "Bushcronium". Bushcronium has one neutron, one vice neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 deputy assistant neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 911. These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, and are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

The symbol for Bushcronium is "W".

Bushcronium's mass actually increases, over time, as these morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become deputy assistant neutrons in a Bushcronium molecule, forming a large cluster of idiotopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a critical mass also known as a "Critical Morass".

When catalyzed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an element radiating several orders of magnitude more energy, mostly as incoherent noise, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

Karma Bitches

Barry is an attorney over in our future home of Texas. I enjoy reading his blog on a daily basis, hell I think it is honestly in my top five. Well today he has given me a gift that will keep on giving.

Ladies and Gentlemen and Browns Backers around the world I give you...KARMA!

Lovely Lady Humps

By now most of you have heard about Alanis Morissette's My Humps video, which is the greatest thing not named Weird Al. If you have not, please take a peak

Now the thing about this video is that God reminded me of someone, and I thought that I had figured it out but then watching it again I saw someone else. So I ask you, who does Alanis look more like in this video...
Jennifer Love Hewitt or Shannon Elizabeth

So then...thoughts? One or the other? Perhaps an amalgam of both?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORED

It is only 4:30 and this day will not get over quick enough. Mind you I want to play with my new toy so I can get some overdue videos done. Have more in mind to think that this is my first day back after our trip to Texas. The Nats just came back and won their first game of the season and...I am utterly bored. I mean time is going by so slowly Anita and I worry that it may actually be moving backwards. What I worry about though is getting stuck in a time loop like in A Nightmare on Elm St 4: The Dream Master.

You all remember that scene right? Where Alice and the future father of her child keep trying to drive to the tough chick's house who is about to become a roach, keep doing that over and over, no wait I'll drive? No, sure you have, the lifter gets crushed in the roach motel. See, I told you you'd remember. Well, that's what this afternoon feels like, the same thing over and over, probably due to the slow posting day for everyone.

Thinking about that scenes makes me think about Horror movies, god do I love my horror movies. So fuck it, here enjoy this lil video I found on YouTube.

Baseball Has Begun

I organized a very large group last night for some tailgating and baseball over at RFK stadium to watch the Marlins beat up on the Nationals per usual. They beat the Nats 9-2 on Monday and we witnessed the 9-3 embarrassment last night. I mean the first run they Nats got was when Scott Olsen walked a guy with the bases loaded. We however had a blast, ripping on Austin Kearns below us, attempting to start a wave (which was quite successful when you consider how many folks were there) that made it halfway around the stadium. Though some claim it would have been more successful if I wasn't wearing my Oakland A's Rickey Henderson jersey, but hey not my problem if they can't recognize greatness.

We usually sit in the 460s, so we're always above Kearns. We loved sitting above Guillen, but now this jackass is out there. I think I need to go get a sign made that says Kearns Hate Club. I know you're planning on doing more once you have a new stadium and all, but the least you could have done is get some pitching of some fashion that DOESN'T belong in double-a ball. Maybe just ONE bat, just one who could do something then constantly fly out in foul territory. I don't know if Guzman and Logan are hurt, they may just be embarrassed to play for the Nats this season.

Of course my A's are not doing so well to begin the season, having dropped our first two to the Seattle Mariners. I don't worry so much about that, we always have an extended spring break and usually begin playing in mid-May or so. Of course Bobby Crosby has played two straight games, which would be a plus if it not for the fact that the sucka has forgotten how to play the shortstop position, let alone how to make a throw to first base.

In spirit of the baseball season beginning, I give to you some baseball related clips. The first may very well go down as the worst opening pitch in the history of opening days. I'm pretty sure Stephen Hawking could have made a better pitch then the Mayor of Cincinnati. The second is the opinion of Noodle as, "the greatest first pitch ever".

Pat Robertson's Law School

Gotta love Satrical Political who gives you the top ten classes at BSC (bat shit crazy) Robertson's law school. For example:

4. International Law: Legal Foundations for Resurrecting the Crusades.

Home James

Lord knows what that means, but we are home from our sojourn to Houston, Texas to drop off Anita's VW Bug for the summer and then some. We actually had zero traffic from DC to Houston. It was there, 1.6 miles from the exit to her parent's home, where we encountered the first real traffic. Apparently six cars or so decided it was a great time to have a demolition derby, including one car that managed a 9.6 over the median into the other side of the highway. After an hour or so we finally managed to make it to her parent's place, where we attempted to find their home which included us looking like thieves looking into houses since we had the wrong house number.

It was an enjoyable weekend in the 4th largest city in the country. Which was really odd seeing that there was virtually no traffic when we went into town on Monday. No traffic downtown, then again it was opening day for baseball and it is a HUGE thing for Houston. I mean DC can have traffic any time of the day and Houston, which is easily double the size of DC, didn't have those kind of issues. This is with no big metro system like DC either, of course Houston is constantly updating highways and expanding them as needed. DC on the other hand has seen its population over the last ten years jump somewhere around thirty percent or so while they highways have expanded...two percent, anyone else see this problem?

It was an enjoyable weekend spent with her folks, even if I wasn't prepared for all the wedding questions that came. Not that I had an issue with it, I just wasn't exactly expecting it if you know what I mean. Though we've determined our parents are never allowed to meet, hang out, and have drinks as that may cause an implosion in the space time continuum. They're good, down to earth people who enjoy theater, a good drink, great food and aren't afraid to make fun of you...good people, even if they're Republican. No worries folks, they're the old school Republican, not the crazy ass religious folks.

In closing, try to find me over at Shakesville in the picture
